The story behind the product:
From Bali, long known for its unique people and colorful culture, comes a native artisan whose gifts have touched the many lives. In 1993, Pramana Suantara opened his workshop in the small village of Ubud, that has since produced some of the finest examples of Balinese artisanship. Yet it was caregiving for the Red Cross that inspired his philanthropic mission. When opportunity afforded him, Pramana would often sit and reflect on the Balinese beaches, collecting the hued and motley shells born from the azure sea. Assisted by local and rural artisans, who have benefited at his hands, Pramana Suantara shares with you authentic Balinese shell craft and jewelry. He continues to support and preserve the people of Bali and Balinese tradition.
